The Green Team works with the Governing Body, Environmental Commission and Sustainable Jersey, a nonprofit organization that provides tools, training and financial incentives to support communities as they pursue sustainability programs. These programs are designed to foster resiliency, reduce waste and improve the environment for future generations. The Green Team has both members representing departments within the local government and resident members. Members are appointed by the Governing Body. All appointments are for a one-year term and members will serve until their respective successors are appointed and qualified.

To get involved with the Borough of Tinton Falls Green Team and sustainability initiatives please email us or join our monthly meetings. Our Borough of Tinton Falls is Bronze certified through the Sustainable Jersey program since 2023. To support our continued certification, please participate in our sustainable initiatives, we need you!
